Anyone used Cogeco's wifi spots? Their user guide is a bit vague as to what info you need to login - can anyone tell me before I go somewhere to try it?

You need a userid and password. If you don't have one phone technical support.
The website has a list of hotspots. |

Is it a userid specific for the wifi? Should I have been issued one or is it on a request basis?

If you have a cogeco email address, it's probably that id and that password.
I already had several email accounts when I signed up so I didn't need a cogeco one. |

Same here - I've not needed/bothered with a Cogeco email address...
Guess I'll have to give them a call, thanks. |
