3 held in possible plot to assassinate Obama

At least three people have been arrested in connection with a possible plot to kill U.S. presidential hopeful Barack Obama during his acceptance speech at the Democratic National Convention in Denver, according to U.S. media reports.

Local TV station CBS4 reported on its website that one of as many as four people in custody told authorities that the group was "going to shoot Obama from a high vantage point" with a rifle.

Looks the the low-hanging fruit has been easily picked off. From here on in I suspect it will only get more sophisticated and likely. Does anyone else see the sad irony here?
