Default Channel Shift Needed For My Situation?

I'm reading this thread a little closer now since I'm contemplating building one. Just a couple of questions:

a) Since we have dtv channels on 53, 65, 66, and 64 (as of this July) in Toronto, can the design be altered to increase the gain on these frequencies? I saw some posts on changing the length of the horizontal stubs but didn't see any conclusion.

b) can either or both the SBGH/DBGH be combined with a second antenna to pickup stations in multiple directions. If so, can it be combined with a Channelmaster 4221? Stampeder did a very informative piece in the knowledge base on combining two 4228s - I'm just wondering if there are any additional tips for this antenna (like spacing).

Thanks!
