Series Premiere Sunday 1/13 at 8/7c and Monday 1/14 at 9/8c, FOX & CTV.

After vanquishing the liquid metal Terminator sent from the future to kill her teenage son, John (Thomas Dekker), Sarah (Lena Headey) now finds herself alone in a very dangerous, and very complicated, world.

Now fugitives, they must face the reality that more enemies from the future could attack at any moment.

"The Sarah Connor Chronicles" picks up where "Terminator 2: Judgment Day," as the mother and son cope with life in fear.

John finds himself inextricably drawn to Cameron (Summer Glau), an enigmatic and otherworldly student at his high school. She soon proves to be much more than his confidante and assumes the role of Sarah and John's fearless protector.

On their trail are not only threats from the future, but an intelligent and tough FBI agent, James Ellison (Richard T. Jones), who soon becomes a powerful ally.

Not sure if it's in HD though. CTV does have "(HD)" tacked on at the end of the title, but that doesn't mean much.

I have the PVR set to record this on Fox already.

The promos have looked promising, not that that means anything.

I'm sure Firefly fans are happy that Summer Glau has been cast into this series

I loved how she portrayed River, and it'll be interesting to see how she takes on this new role.

Keep in mind that, on Sunday, FOX has the Giants/Cowboys game in the slot before Chronicles. If you are recording on FOX (as I am/was, since it did not appear on CTV in the Guide on Monay) make sure to "pad" by recording the next slot or two (it's a new Family Guy, so might be worth it anyway).

I will definitely be checking this out. It's not like there is much else new on network TV to watch.

I hope it's better than Bionic Woman. I signed off on that one after two episodes.

But it didn't start on CTV until 9pm

Gotta say I was impressed with the pilot episode. Watched the opening scene again when it was on CTV at 9pm, and the picture on that channel seemed a little more washed out than FOX.

This was a very good pilot episode. It didn't dwell a lot on backstory and assumes the viewer already knows much of the story going into it. Pacing was also very good. I hope they can sustain the energy throughout it's run.

I really liked it. Was surprised at the quick pace and action. The story looks very interesting so far as well.

Yeah, I didn't see a bug on FoxHD either. Glad to see it was in HD too. Was in HD on CTV?
