In an effort to reduce the amount of spam appearing on the Digital Forum, members with less than 20 approved posts will have their posts scanned by our forum software.
The forum software will be searching for web links or keywords commonly used by spammers. If no links or spam words are found then your post will appear immediately. If your post contains links or suspicious keywords then it will be placed in a moderation queue for manual review by a moderator. This does not mean we think your post is spam, it simply means you've used some words commonly used by spammers and we want to check your post prior to it appearing on our site. It's kind of like the Junk email filter employed by your email program except we check all of the flagged posts. After manual review, legitimate posts will be approved and appear on the forum. This review typically takes a few hours however it could take up to 24 hours. I regret having to take this action but I think readers will appreciate why it is being done. If you have questions or concerns, please see the discussion thread in the Member Feedback forum. Hugh
