Default What do you want/expect to get for Fathers Day?

We can all dream and then there is reality.

So What would you like for Fathers Day? Big Screen, Ipod etc?

What do you expect to get? Socks, underwear, etc?

Last year my daughter (12) took me out to the park for a picnic that she and her grandma had put together for us. Best Father's Day gift I have ever had.

I'm going to get something made by each of my two son's since they've hinted at that. My wife is really good at these occasions so I'm sure it'll be something I'll like.

What I want? Nothing really.

My 2 and 4 year olds to not wake me up by bouncing on the bed and demanding to watch Dora on the bedroom TV at 6am, for a change.

I'm expecting my lady-friend's daughter to give me a nice bottle (or two) of wine from one (or two) of the smaller Okanagan BC wineries she visited a few weeks ago. And to be taken out to a dim-sum brunch - yum!!

Been there, done that. Don't worry, they do grow out of it (waking up early and Dora).

I'll thought the ultimate thing for most fathers, will be to spend quality time with their kid/s, rather than turning it into a gift receiving extravaganza?

I get quality and quantity time all day every day with my kids since I work at home. No, Sunday is all about the presents. Bring on the new bathrobe. Yeah, baby!

The kids coming home is number one.

Number 2 is electronics, good food and wine, topped by a fine cigar...

I wanted a Sonos sound system.

I ordered a Sonos sound system on Friday night.

My Sonos sound system was delivered yesterday.
