CBC-TV named Broadcaster of Year at New York Festivals

CBC Television has won the television Broadcaster of the Year Award at the New York Festivals Awards. Last year CBC Radio won the first Broadcaster of the Year Award in the New York Festivals, which features competitions for radio, TV, film, advertising and alternative media.

CBC Television also won a Grand Award, eight Gold World Medals and 26 other medals and certificates for television programming and promotion at this year's awards ceremony held Friday in New York.
