Hi everyone,
Does anyone have any reviews or thoughts on the Denon AVR-1507? I am looking for a receiver with decent sound quality in the price range of $400 - $500. So far I haven't been able to find much reviews on this receiver. I am not looking for a lot of connectivity as I plan to play both music and DVDs from my computer via digital coax + DVI-HDMI, so I think the TV should be able to handle the number of inputs I plan to send to it. So my key criteria is good sound quality to power a set of Athena Point 5s, but can handle 7.1 as I might want to add 2 floorstanding speakers in the next year. Thanks! |

It's just a 1506 with IPOD connectivity.
This is an entry level receiver and as such is a good entry level unit. My suggestion would be to audition floor standing speakers now. Then pick a receiver that will be able to handle the speaker upgrade when you do it. |
