I finally got around to watching the Da Vinci Code DVD......a really good movie. Anyway, the topic of the Knights Templar comes up a few times during the movie and I had heard there was a connection between the Knights Templar and Freemasonary. Does anyone know about this...are there any Masons out there?

"Holy Blood, Holy Grail" goes into this in great detail. In it Freemasonry is only one of many organizations listed that claim to have its root in The Knights Templar.

Or you could read the Illuminatus Trilogy and really get your head messed up

Discovery did a show on the divinci code, and they covered the Knights templar, The knights templar are largely responsible for our banking lending and interest to day.... they started it ..

I also understood the templars were fantastic builders, (masons) here is an interesting link I myself have been reading up on
