Did you purchase your Belden wire from www.bswusa.com? Do you know of any local suppliers in Vancouver?

Home Grown Audio
has some nice plugs that secure with a hex key, but are not of the locking variety at $5 US each.

Axiom Audio has plugs for $4 CAD each that are locking and mechanically secure the cable. Look here for the manual describing the mechanism. The mechanism looks quite big and solid and secures the cable transverse to the plug centerline.

A Toronto seller on eBay is selling locking and mechanically secured plugs for $5 CAD each that are similar to the GLS plugs sold by http://www.speakerrepair.com/ for $3 USD each (pack of 8) on eBay. These plugs connect the cable parallel to the plug centerline which are then mechanically secured using a blade screwdriver. There is one screw for wire contact and one for strain relief.

Has anyone had any experience with the Axiom banana plugs?
