Error playing back recordings. Help!

Hey guys,

Last night I was taping the world juniors on TSN HD. I went to watch the game this morning and had over 130 events ranging from 0 to 2 minutes labeled as the game. I deleted them all and did a reset of the system after it froze up.

Today, I go to watch an episode of ALIAS that I had recorded 2 weeks ago and get the error, "An error was encountered when opening the DVR files for this event - Error 07". I had about 15 events recorded, and now they're all giving me this same error!

I went through the usual dog and pony show with tech support and then they gave me the line that it looks like it might be a problem on their end. I declared shenanigans, and they told me to phone back on Friday if it's not working.

I'm tired of tech support not having a clue what's wrong. Any of you guys know a fix for this, or are my recordings gone forever? If so, my wife is gonna kill me, and BEV will be getting a call from me this afternoon. Any events I record now, I can access fine, just not anything from the past.
