I would personally assume it's the handset. When MTS fired up their new network, it was based on their original network coverage PLUS rogers network coverage (they share towers in Manitoba)
Plus I hate blackberrys. |

Does anyone know when Churchill Manitoba will get 3G service?

According to their website:
4G will not be available in Bissett, Churchill, Middlebro, Split Lake, Oxford House, Snow Lake, Ebb & Flow, Fisher River / Koostatak, Long Spruce, Radisson, Henday, and Wuskwatim. Although if Rogers ever operates 3G in Churchill, theoretically you could roam on that. |

@Reed Solomon, I don't think Rogers has built any towers in Manitoba since the agreement on page 1 of this thread.
@kidnash84, the quote above was part of the original announcement so your best bet would probably be to contact MTS to see if they have any new plans for Churchill. |
