On the Wii menu page, my "Shop Channel" advertises that Hulu Plus is now available for download. However, when I go to the Shop Channel, Hulu Plus is nowhere to be seen. Does anyone know what's going on?

The Hulu service is not available to anyone in Canada.

I use Hulu Plus on my Wii in Canada. You need to do two things. Subscribe to a VPN or use UnblockUS setup in your router. Secondly, change the country location in your Wii system settings to United States, you also must re-accept the terms and conditions. That screen is located somewhere else in the system settings.

You will still require a Hulu plus account, which involves a lot of jumping through hoops as you need to say you are a US resident

Actually, that's pretty easy too. I learned a neat trick on these forums which worked great. You use your Canadian credit card but convert the address into a U.S. one. You simply take the numbers from your postal code ie
H5T 1G7 would be 517, pick two numbers and tack them to the end like this 51701, now find a real address within that zip code using google. Hulu thinks I live in a diner in North Hollywood |
