I'm seeing online ads for something called "SNAP-TV" which is "coming to Vancouver Island this September" with "HD Programming, Movies, Internet, Skype and Games for a fraction of the cost of cable - wired or wireless". That's all the weblink says. Anyone know the details?

Teaser campaign.
http://www.tv-snap.com/ Speculation is that it's some sort of internet-based service. Though I'm starting to wonder if it could be a standalone service...wireless?! Hmmm....

SNAP-TV has a Facebook presence, so thought I would ask them about their plan for rollout on Vancouver Island. Here is their response. Are there two businesses both using the name SnapTV? Hmmm
SnapTV Dear Pontcanna! I'm sorry, but could you be mistaking us for someone else? Unfortunally, SanpTV as an IPTV vendor do not have any plans for visiting Vancouver Island in the near future. Best regards, SnapTV |
