I have this loaded into my boot 0 directory, had to overwite the egnima 2 firmware that was there due to the receiver not allowing me or not fully understanding how to boot up to the boot 2 directory.
Tried pressing volume + key and also just pressing the number 1 on the remote whenever the receiver came up with azme but all to no avail. So now I am using Aztrino 1.85. Is there any way to change pid info? There is one muc on galaxy 16 Cband that 2 channels will not show up for me but I know they are there. The blind scan picks them up and has the channels listed in the menu but just 2 of them will not come in for me. I know that the video pids being sent down for those 2 channels are changed by the uplink to keep prying eyes off of them but the Pl.us receiver picks them up just fine and I would like to know if there is some menu screen I do not know about with this firmware that would allow the user to change pid info? Also, when a channel appears with no name where /how are you supposed to be able to enter the right channel name? I've looked to no avail. Any help or insight would be greatly appreciated. |

I found that this firmware does not scan in eScapes Network on Galaxy 16 C-band even if I use dreamset to manually enter it there is no video and the audio is there but breaks up here yet other receivers pick it up ok.
Also on 4100 V the 2 hidden channels there do not come in even if I try to use an editor to enter that info so I don't understand that one at all. Is there a way to delete several channels that scan in as encrypted all at the same time like checking them and then deleting them? That would same loads of finger mashing on the keys on the remote. |

this firmware will not pick up some low SR channels on Galaxy 16
specifically 3791 H 1666 3/4 DVB-S/Qpsk Even though that one shows up fine on the premium plus the ME will not show it at all. Also eScapes does not come in nor does the blind scan find it. Manual entry does not work on eScapes either. When things work it has a beautiful picture and all but there are many channels it refuses to allow you to add even with an editor program they just show up as an error not available on the screen. There is another mux on Galaxy 16 that only pulls in 3 out of the 5 channels the other two it will not . |

can someone explain how the settings are to be set properly for ku using Aztrino 1.85 on the ME's.
I don't quite understand the set up that comes in the receiver. If I go to: Main Menu Channels DVB-S Tuner Antenna Setup LNB Low Band Frequency LNB High Band Frequency LNB Switch Frequency For C-band it is listed as 5150 for high and low band and the switch settings are listed at 4800 For KU it is listed at 9750 Low, 10600, high and switch as 11700. If I am using the ME as a slave on a big dish with a normal c-band lnb and a ku lnb what are these setting supposed to be or are they already correct in the receiver? What is the switch setting for? Any explanation would be appreciated. Thanks. |

LNB switch frequency controls at what transponder frequency the 22Khz tone becomes active. If you have a 22 Khz switch using a standard Ku band LNBF for instance, the LNB switch frequency default value of 11700 would turn 22Khz on for all Ku-band frequencies over 11700. If you wish to turn 22Khz off on the other hand, simply change the LNB switch frequency from 11700 to 12700. Regards, Dr. Sat |

Thanks for the info.
I have made the changes on all my C-band and ku sats to reflect the proper freq. for high and low. The C-band side works ok but the ku sats will not blind scan anything. However, if I enter the freq, SR etc... and press test signal the signal meter shows a signal then if I just do 1 TP at a time if I know what it is it works and pulls in the channels however the blind-scan for ku is not working properly. (keep reading for more on this) I did try using an editor to enter the pids for one or two services but the particular ones I wanted do not work on the ME for some reason. I am not giving up yet, there has to be a way to get them in there. Just wish I could get the blind scan working on ku properly. I enter 10750 for both high and low. The switch settings I tried 12700, 11700 and even 10750 but to no avail. The ku line is running through a DiSEqC switch and I did make sure those settings were set properly. Now, after setting the switch setting to 11700, moved the ku line on the DiSEqC switch to line 1 where the C-band line was , reset the sat menu to reflect the DiSEqc line and it scanned in Galaxy 19 V. Tested line 2 and 3 on the DiSEqC switch and if I take off the C-band line from the DiSEqC switch then and only then will it blind scan KU. So the DiSEqC settings are not working properly or something was not set in the firmware for using a 4x1 DiSEqC switch. Now once it is finished scanning in the channels (after taking off the C-band line) I can put the C-band line back on line 1 of the DiSEqC switch and all is fine, just no blind scan with the C-band line on the 4x1 DiSEqC switch. Yet I can enter a single TP and pull it in that way with the C-band line connected with the Antenna setup set to line 2 or 3 whichever I decide to place the ku line in at. Hope this is not too confusing. I tested out after entering in a H polarity ku channel on Galaxy 19 with testing out the TP scan only with all my lines connected properly. Then to make sure I had it correct and working properly I connected the AZ Premium Plus back up and with those settings set correctly I have no p[roblem with the DiSEqC switch. So the equipment is working right here, must be in the firmware for the Az ME. Appears that using the DiSEqC switch you need to have the satellite set up with the switch setting on KU to 11700 and for C-band that switch setting needs to be 4800. If you know of another way to try please let me know. Thanks! Also: is there going to be any way to organize the channel list better in the future? Always liked the way the Az Premium Plus had a way to organize them by satellite so they were easy to locate later on when I was on the proper satellite. |
