Right, because Rogers and Bell own the broadcaster and the BDU, they are inclined to allow the simsubs even if the station doesn't meet mandatory carriage. But when it is optional carriage, the BDUs can do as they please. Obviously, for the time being, Rogers is still complying.

As for CKCO simsubbing over CFTO, I don't see Bell asking for this since CFTO is the flagship station.

Yes, CFTO is the flagship station, but so what? CKCO has a transmitter for london, but does not simsub over CFTO. I wonder why? I thought the purpose for simsubbing was so viewers could watch local advertisements. CKCO does show the odd ad, here and there, for london like events at JLC, and whatever. I do remember CBLN, actually showing ads for london e.g. lazyboy furniture, mcmaster chev olds, and hair loss clinic here in london. Meanwhile, now, we have 2 distant CBC signals...one in toronto, and one in Oshawa( private affiliate). So simsubbing should be disabled.

Default Berdych - Isner Match

Did you guys see the end of the Berdych - Isner match that was in a tiebreak on Rogers? Of course not. Global was placed overtop as they hijack golf, and was never removed, so the end of the tennis match wasn't shown on Rogers.

What, did Rogers' so-called Visual Monitoring Group fail to notice this error once again? Did they fall asleep at their desks once again? Maybe Rogers should provide them some more coffee???

I can't believe this continues to happen.

Rogers really is awesome......

NBC-HD being simsubbed with CTV's Dr. Phil today. But NBC has golf today, so it shouldnt be simsubbed.

Interesting that NBC-SD is not being simsubbed though. lol

Will they ever learn.......

Maybe they think that Dr. Phil is doing a special from the Deutsche Bank Championship?

At least the west HD feed is unmolested.

As with last year, looks like all CBS SD NFL broadcasts will be improperly subbed.

Just going to take a wild guess here... but after the Fox game, I highly doubt Fox is showing the Top 10 Movie Vampires.

aka Citytv still simsubbing, missing the postgame.. or whatever Fox is showing???

sweet, now its Murdoch Mysteries instead of Simpsons. Just brutal.

fixed at 8:05. so thats what. 20 minutes of mistakes? No worries, Im sure they'll cut it down to 15 next week. (and it wasnt even the Simpsons, its still NFL postgame)

Audio on Phi@Pits NFL game is about 25% of what it should be. (both on ctv and the simsubbed fox)

Commercials are also way too quiet.

So another botched simsub.

Fox Buffalo in SWO being simsubbed by a channel I dont even get (CTV Toronto), as CTV Kitchener is showing Det/Sea game.

And its not framed right to boot. SD has it full screen, while Fox NFL games are 16x9. Nothing like watching it with so much of the screen being cut off. (so ironic that cbs games are usually squished when not supposed to, and now a fox games isnt squished.. how bad can you get)
