Any LIRC gurus out there? - Canadian TV, Computing and Home Theatre Forums

Hi everyone:

My current Shuttle HTPC running Ubuntu 11.1 runs reasonably well, but I never got the remote working with it. Anyone around here really knowledgeable about the later versions of LIRC?

Is this even the best forum for it? I mean, LIRC is HTPC-related, but it is Linux.

My questions is complicated, so i don't want to go into it until I'm in the right forum.

What say you?
