From the Syrup
http://mobilesyrup.com/2012/07/23/ly...d-text-market/ Having used them in Germany, 1 euro cent per min to Canada I think this is going to make things interesting. Now I do not expect them to do the same price point here but I am sure it will shake a few things up. |

Well the article said a GSM carrier so Wind, Mobilicity and public are out. I am thinking Rogers. They tend to pick a more established network in each country they are in. Australia they chose Tesla and in England 02 Looking at the site they have some super cheap rates!

Rogers is the only national carrier with a GSM network. They are also the most logical. They can restrict users to the 2G network and offer unlimited calling without impacting their 3G network.
However, it certainly wouldn't be the first time a major news source has confused GSM and SIM card technology as one and the same. Though Rogers seems most logical, I wouldn't necessarily rule out Bell/Telus, Wind, or Mobilicity just yet. |

I was reminded in a PM that I should not talk about personal experiences with Lycamobile since I did the same with Wind.Gr and it blew up in my face. The Branch of Lycamobile I used was in England and in Germany and I had 0 issues. Lets wait and see how they perform in Canada |
