I'm being a bit cheeky, but the demand keeps manifesting itself thru comments here. How about a new sticky forum called "Shaw Cable new channel NOT discussion 2012"? So we can all see what Shaw still does not offer and what people would like to see them bring onstream.

Apart from using rude language. Use this area to discuss and console each other about Shaw's channel lineup.

Hi all, now that HDnet has been re-branded to AXS tv, I am wondering if Shaw will pick it up. I really miss not having HDnet (AXS) and I find it hard to believe that it was not popular. Shaw has been bragging about their new EXO system so I don't see why we can't get AXS.

At least give it to us as an option, I would be happy to pay a premium for this channel. Does anyone else feel how I feel and if yes is there anything we can do to convince Shaw to carry AXS tv?

I miss my MMA...

My cable bill didn't go down when Shaw removed HDNet, not willing to pay a premium to get AXS.

You bill didn't go down. And why should it? Shaw did add a few other HD channels since they dropped HDnet.

Latest buzz on Facebook is that Art Mann presents has been talking to Shaw to get the show back but judging from the comments and how AXS has butchered the show, I wouldn't hold my breath for Shaw or the big providers to offer AXS.

Showcase dropped most of their XXX programming when Shaw bought them. This was also around the time the government dropped Canadian Content Film funding for "adult programming".

I would like to see Cartoon Network HD (I would even be happy with the SD version for the meantime), CBC News Network HD, CTV News Channel HD, Discovery Science HD, FX Canada HD and Comedy Network HD.
