I'm not 100% sure but I believe with the Good,Better,Best depending on where yo live you loose certain channels with the new packages.
I'm in Ottawa have the best and don't get 200 CBC either nordo I get CTV2 London but get CTV2 Ottawa & Toronto/Barrie. |

I don't like the Good, Better, Best packages. I see it as more of a money grab and they have less flexibility. I personally can't switch to Better without losing some channels I like or paying more money. I'm not going to do it. Good should be renamed Crappy or Super Basic but I guess that doesn't help the marketing department lol.
The biggest problem I have with the Better package is the increased price of the other bundles. At $10 a pop for More Movies or Variety it is pricey to try and add anything you may want (and currently have but will lose). The only way it makes sense for people is if they switch to Better and not add any new channels. |

I am personally going to stay in the old package as long as I can. These new packages stink.
I have called Bell since the package change for a billing issue and I expressed my displeasure with the new packages. I was told by the CSR that she was hearing it alot and mentioned that I will not have to change as I am grandfathered in the package, which I already knew. I mentioned that I would cancel before moving to the new package. We should complain every chance we get so that Bell understands how disliked their packages are. It is OK to be grandfathered now, but when new channels arrive, I am wondering if they will force us to move to get them. |

I've said it before, and I still believe that Bell is taking away many of the locals in the new Good/Better/Best packages so that they do not need to pay fees for carriage for these stations. Bell eventually is going to have to pay these local stations for their signals, likely based on number of subscribers that can see them. By removing a lot of the locals from the packages outside of the normal viewing area, then that significantly reduces the amount of money that Bell needs to pay to those stations when the fees for carriage go into place.
I am sticking with my grandfathered package. I've scaled it down recently to compensate for the recent price increases, but I still get all of the locals. I found it very interesting to watch the new broadcasts from Saskatchewan earlier this week when they had the rough weather. I watched the Sudbury station this week to get news on the mall collapse in Elliot Lake. Having locals from across the country gives the viewer more detailed information from the areas where the events are happening, rather than being stuck with just a 30 second snippet from the national broadcast. I'm sticking with the old package. If they try to 'force' me to change, I'll cancel. It's that easy. I've become fed up with Bell to the point where if they push me, I'll jump. |

No. Only in the best package. If you want them in the better package you need to add the $5 time shifting option on.

Got hooked on AMC's Breaking Bad and Walking Dead via Netflix and Internet video services. I want to subscribe to AMC to see the upcoming new seasons but it means that I must pay $12 more and get 34 unwanted channels under the new bad/worse/worst packaging or $22 to get AMC in the TMN pack under my current plan.
Yes, the series are worth $12 more per month until they're over but it's the principle of not propping up unwanted channels that I will not watch that prevents me from doing it. |

Lets not forget that these promotions only apply to first time subscribers or those having not subscribed for several months.
