So two weeks ago, Rogers randomly came in without notifying us, dug up our lawn and closed it up. After they did that, our grass died, making an ugly yellow line. You can see it from the picture.
http://s10.postimage.org/62tenntvd/2...7_17_47_06.jpg I called in a week ago about the dead grass and an ugly wire hovering over the driveway (you can partially see it in the picture). WELL they said 5-7 days, but nobody came, and I don't know what is going on. So I called in today, but they are saying another 5-7 days to just LOOK at the damage. I asked to talk to the manager, hoping for some sort of accelerated process, but I am not sure what to do now. I found from googling that someone experienced something similar on this forum and somehow got it fixed.. by posting this.. Is there any other way of getting this done quickly? I will be out of country in a week and I want to get this over with soon... Thanks! Last edited by 57; 2012-07-07 at 06:27 PM. Reason: Image too large, changed to link |

Just as an FYI, here's the previous discussion:
http://www.digitalhome.ca/forum/showthread.php?t=110313 I would suggest that calmly discussing this with Rogers is the best solution, although with the dry weather, you'll need to water any replacement grass to ensure it lives. It's pretty normal to see this when a lawn is repaired this time of year and not enough water is put on the "patch". To be honest, your photo shows quite a bit of dry grass on the left side and everything may look identical by the fall. As an FYI, most photo editing software has a "rotate" function.

Yes, I saw that, but he only got it solved after he posted it here. I feel he is awfully lucky to have a manager look at the post. I am not sure what actions to take at this point.. really.
