I am scratching my head. While I was away, my wife moved the tv upstairs, and the downstairs tv stopped working. Then I tightened the coax cables on both and the downstairs still did not work and the upstairs did. Then I switched the input cables and now both don't work.
I am lost HELP!! I know nothign is broken, I just need a sequence and what to check. |

You need to explain more about your setup and what you did when you moved the TV. You can not use splitters like for cable TV on a satellite feed.

You can use splitters but it is only in very specific ways. General rule of thumb for the homeowner, do NOT use them.

I have a feeling this op is not going to come back, if he does we need to know what type of LNBF(S) he has and if he has a switch or not, because I have a feeling that if it was only a switch in wiring then perhaps the power inserter for the SW44 wasn't left at its original location (Just a thought/hunch) It will be up the original op to provide those details so we can offer further assistance
