Less than a week away till this channel launches and we have no information with regards to providers ... you think that they would focus on getting people to sign for this channel rather then run a contest ... they need to update their website with information regarding providers and programming (since it has become available to the public.)

The point of having people contact their provider is to try and let the provider know that someone actually wants it. A channel is more likely to get added if they get a flood of requests about it.

Given the lack of information, it doesn't look good for any of the big boys carrying this one.

Question

I look all over BTV & Fibe web sites couldn't find any mention of it. I even called BTV 3 different times spoke to 3 different CSRs and none could confirm it was coming they had no info on this channel.

Can you post a link where you got your info?

BKman....good luck finding info from EastLink on this. I like them overall but they really work hard at keeping customers and possible future customers in the dark on just about everything. If I find anything myself, I'll post it here.

I agree 100% with some previous posts frustrated by both sides "playing dumb" on this. It seems to be a new trend in this industry.

Rogers is the worst at keeping channel launches secret. They dont even tell their CSR's, the channels just show up unexpectedly.

Channel launches July 4th and Cartoon Network Canada hasn't updated both sites yet ... you would THINK that they would want to update both sites, with a programs list, a schedule of the programs on launch weeks, and maybe a few games to tide us over till the Launch .. I honestly think this is the worst channel launch ever.

Even ABC Spark had a website up and running with preview videos (like CN has) but they didn't have information with regards to the shows the have, and for the adult swim website, it hasnt changed since they made it in April, it looks like a teenager did it for a computer class in Highschool ... I know its meant to look that way .. but come on, have they seen adultswim.com?

Default Yeah I Know

I thought it was a joke that somebody put for link on wikipedia, but the official adult swim canada facebook page even said that was the link. The site looks like something made 10 years ago when pages looked like that. And it looks like the launch is going to be a total mess. It might not even launch on launch date. But let's hope that it does launch on launch date.

I just hope they upped the WOW factor ... like even watching [adult swim] preview on teletoon .. just makes me want to watch the more funnier [adult swim] in the U.S. ... I wish they brought the real cartoon network ..

Question

I'm not sure who will exactly carry this channel, but as Eastlink was mentioned from as far as I know they carry Teletoon HD, so I'm guessing they might carry this channel in SD & HD.

As for the web site, I find it pretty pethic that companies like Corus/Astral & it US partner Cartoon Network(I think is owned by Time Warner not sure)would have a web site so bad looking and can't even provide one providers name who will carry the channel.

There is nothing on Cogeco's website about this channel. Shaw Direct has nothing on its website either. There is no indication on the Teletoon commercials who is carrying this channel.
