Default Wireless Audio

I see lots of ways to stream music from my PC.

But what I would like to do is stream the audio from my Telus OPTIK PVR &/or PS3 to my existing, outdated, home theater receiver. Is this possible?

FM transmitter. That is what I use to transmit audio from my netbook or MP3 player to the GE Super-Radio across the kitchen. radio in the work room, or porch stereo, all of various vintages.

We have a Monster FM transmitter & have used it in house as you've suggested with an Ipod & tablet as the audio source. But unfortunately, what I want to do is use a television receiver (cable box) or game system as the audio source. So unless & can go from a standard audio connection (left & right channel) to USB, I don't see the transmitter idea working.

Many transmitters have plain analog audio in. That will connect to your game console or cable box fine. A USB FM transmitter is rather odd.

You're correct, I was confusing the Ipod connection with an USB.
I'll look for one with an analog connection. Any recommendation's?
