The new boxes also don't show the lobby channel, can't order new channels , or the heaven forbid Launch Guide (that is one I can live without )

The Application that is responsible for your ordering of unsubscribed channels, and the Quickstart guide, are the same app.

The Lobby Watch Camera? now thats a different problem not really related to QuickStart. the TV Caller ID app as well is not compatible with your box at this time, but will be in due time.

I like to know when Call display will be available on the 8642 alone with the TV Mix Channels?

there have been changes with TV Call Display this morning on 8300 boxes ,
any changes on other boxes ?

Those changes happened a few weeks ago

thats funny you mentioned that, there were changes with the 4250 box as well

The 4250 box in our bedroom did a reset this morning around 5am I think. It woke me up oddly enough.
