You failed to list programming for ABC Spark and Cartoon Network, or maybe that's Corus

Just in case someone is wondering, The Cave is rebranding to H2 and Showcase Diva is rebranding to Lifetime, according to this thread.

I noticed that "Global Reality" wasn't in the up fronts, but I wasn't sure why. I just read a post that Rogers is telling staff that the channel is being dropped (and Rogers is the only major BDU to carry it).

Does this mean that HBO is not going to air the season 3 of Strike Back? Also, Strike Back is full of nudity and violence. Will it be edited on Showcase?

Quite often Showcase airs series after they've had their first run on a premium channel. In other words, I would expect to see season 1 or 2 of Strike Back on Showcase, but the press release doesn't say one way or the other.

That makes sense. It just your line up says "Canadian Premiere" for Strike Back while last year it was on HBO. I will be surprised if Showcase gets first run on the show instead of HBO.

Default Big Brother is coming to Canada

Quote:
Shaw Media has sealed a deal with Endemol to produce the first ever Canadian instalment of the wildly popular international sensation Big Brother and has teamed up with Canadian production heavyweight Insight Productions on the production of the series. The inaugural season of Big Brother Canada will air during the 2012/13 broadcast season exclusively on Slice.
Fans of Big Brother can connect with the series outside of the 3-day-a-week broadcast through a myriad of digital extensions including live streaming and social engagement opportunities that allow online users to impact decisions in the house.

Press Release.

Default Strike Back

@hercules130 Showcase will air Strike Back Season 1 according to this link I found on Shaw Media's site. They also have it correctly listed as the Network Premiere rather than the Canadian Premiere as they did in the press release.

This is great News about Big Brother. I've watched every season wall-to-wall, and still looking forward to this upcoming season of both BB U.S. and Canada. I think BB has more viewers per capita in Canada than it does in the U.S.

Yippee!! Finally some new Silent Witness coming on BBC Canada. And pleased that they are bringing back Scott and Bailey as well. Now we just need them to become HD (along with IFC).

What does concern me abt the BBC Canada line up is Top Gear (UK) - it says that Top Gear US is premiering (although why bother imo), and that returning are "Best of Top Gear Specials". So no new regular Top Gear?

it is kind of funny if they are calling it season 1 because the real season 1 aired a few years ago on that channel

moviecentral/TMN and cinemax in the states picked up the show and acted like it was a brand new show and that the first season never existed
