I'm away on business wife called said she dropped remote accidently on floor of our 600. Since then she says there is a message on TV which flashs at various locations please hit auto scan. I have no idea what she has done, but she insists in was the receiver remote. Does anyone have any ideas to correct?

Is it possible that the tv is connected to the 600 via HDMI?
It could be that the remote hit the 'source' button- changing the tv input to an empty input. Have the 'source' button presses again to see if it cycles through to the correct HDMI input. More info would be needed otherwise- brand/model of tv, connections etc...

That's one of the things I like about the Harmony remotes. Usually you just tell the person to press the 'Help' button, and it'll walk through the most common issues like this.
