My apologies if I posted this in the wrong place.
I'm a Bell customer living in the Edmonton area and I am baffled by the apparent lack of a Global Edmonton HD channel. I can watch the Vancouver, Calgary, Toronto, etc. Global TV feeds in HD, but not Edmonton. But the weirdest part is when I watch Global Edmonton in SD (channel 240 for me), it displays the Global HD icon down in the bottom corner. What gives? Does the channel exist in HD, somewhere? ![]() Thanks. |

It does exist in HD, it just isn't carried by Bell. Also, CTV Edmonton, City Edmonton, and CBC Edmonton are also available in HD, just not on Bell. Shaw Cable or Telus would have them there, or you can put up an antenna and pick them up over the air. For me, I have an antenna to pick up Global Saskatoon and CTV Saskatoon in HD. The antenna goes into the back of my 9242 so the channels appear in my guide and I can use all PVR functions on the two channels.
