Default Rogers going digital but need PVR,, how?

Ok, so Rogers has gone digital and is supplying the Cisco DTA50 which has its own tuner. Urghh!!!

When I heard Rogers was supplying digital adapters I thought it was just going to be decoders. But the added tuner creates a problem with my Hauppauge tuner/PVR installed in my HTPC.

So what is the simplest solution to get around this.

I would still like to have a PVR within my HTPC but don't know how so with the Rogers Cisco unit.

Ultimately I'd like to record one channel while watching another.
