Denon AVR-3803 / VSX-1326 Pioneer Receiver Issues (Zones) - Canadian TV, Computing and Home Theatre Forums

Hello folks.
I'm fairly new at setting up elaborate systems but am pretty tech savvy typically. I've run into an issue however.

Equipment List...

Samsung 60" LED UN60D6500VF [one in living room, one in bedroom]
Pioneer VSX-1326 Receiver
Denon AVR-3803
Samsung BD-D5500
File Server / Gaming Computer EVGA GTX 580
Surveillance Computer

Speakers [All Klipsch]...
7.2 in living room [9 speakers, 2 subs]
2 speakers in kitchen, 2 speakers in dining room [zone 2]
2 speakers outside [zone 3]

Everything is run through conduit in the walls and all components run from the island. If you need images I can provide them.
Everything is controlled with the Harmony Link and an iPad.

Problem...

I'm using the 1326 for the living room.
I have the kitchen/dining/outside speakers connected to the Denon.
I want to output ALL audio to the Denon to control zones 2&3.
I have attempted several options and I can't get anything to work.
I have confirmed that the Denon is in fact working and all speakers connected to it are confirmed working also.
I have the monitor out on the Denon going to the 1326 and am able to bring up the onscreen menu.

Do you have the sources hooked up using digital or analog to the zone 2/3 amp? Most receivers will not output a digital signal to the secondary zones.

The only thing not running through a digital cable is the Denon on screen.
Literally every other item within my cabinet is connected via HDMI.

So this makes me wonder if it's even possible.
If it isn't possible to output HDMI signals to another receiver, how on earth do I achieve what I'm after?

You connect the devices you wish to listen to in the zones via analogue audio (red/white) cables. (in addition to HDMI) I believe that's how almost all "zone" AVRs work. This should be outlined in the operating manual.

Will there be quality loss on the PC unit?
The GTX video card has 3 outputs, mini HDMI, and 2 x DVI connections.
Is there a cable that will convert the audio/video signals so I can actually hook it all up that way?
So far it's starting to look grim.

I've been reading through a few of our links 57, and if I read correctly I answered my own question.
Component Video will work, and won't actually be of less quality right?
I love the 7.2 for gaming on the PC.

Most PCs/Cards have a mini-audio out jack that easily converts to analogue audio with a y-connector or similar. I'm not sure about your particular card/PC. (these are often used for external computer speakers for example). The audio obviously is not digital, however, for zones it's typically more than adequate.

Analogue audio is usually "live" on most devices even when using HDMI, but it may be different with a PC.

The manual doesn't outline this clearly, or else I've been missing something.
I will attempt to hook up the AV cables in addition to the HDMI and see what happens.

Roger that.
Although I'm not using on board audio so that isn't the case for me.
The audio is sent through the mini HDMI.
I could reinstall the audio card to get that output back.

Before you do a lot of work, you can connect one device (say the BD player) using analogue audio cables to ensure it works, then go from there.

I'll test this out before I starting fishing 50 feet of cable.
