I have been having the 5 second loop issue as well. So I bit the bullet and tried shaw concierge.(I only had to wait about 5 seconds for a support agent - well done shaw!) They went through the usual make sure your unit is plugged directly into the wall and not a power bar, unplug and wait 30 seconds. Which I had done prior to contacting support.

Support looked at the box and said it was not showing any errors. So they reset my pace box and now I have to wait and see if the same problem persists. If it does the support guy said that I should format my expander and see if that fixes the problem.

I was kinda just hoping that they would replace the unit, which will be the direction I push for if im still getting the error after this box reset and possible expander format.
