First off I would like to say hello to all,I'm obviously new to the forum and a complete noob to satellite stuff,
I'm not sure if this is posted in the proper thread or not but feel free to move it if need be. I was given 2 Motorola DSR 305 receivers and was hoping to somehow pair them up with my paid subscription adding them to the network? so I can bring one to my camp.Any ideas or suggestions would be a great help. Oh,they are the same models as the ones I already have. I should also mention that my service is provided by Star Choice. Last edited by Splinters902; 2012-05-16 at 09:17 PM. |

If you already have an account with StarChoice, call them and ask to have one or both of your newly acquired DSR305's added to the account. Depending on your account package you may have to pay acouple of $$ for the monthly receiver fee. You'll wanna make sure you have a second dish for camp though so you don't have to unmount/mount the one at your house.

1. Your thread was moved to the Shaw Direct (SD, formerly Star Choice) forum.
2. You should be able to call them and have the STBs added. 3. You should be aware of the HAFH programme, outlined in the following link - ask SD about it for your "camp": http://www.digitalhome.ca/forum/showthread.php?t=110354 4. Check out the following post useful to newbies: http://www.digitalhome.ca/forum/showthread.php?t=57741
