HOT..Canada's summer 2012 Weather Forecast

Environment Canada’s senior climatologist, Dave Phillips, says that their preliminary data for the June-July-August forecast shows almost all of Canada will be warmer than normal. “Normal” is defined by the average temperature in a location over the 30-year period from 1971-2000.

Also on the Global web page are these predictions: According to AccuWeather Ontario and southern Quebec can expect more stormy weather than usual this summer; and in Calgary and Edmonton temperatures are predicted to be hotter than normal with less rainfall.
