The $2.99 Online charge is a ripeoff! I was told there would be No charge for it on my 3 month renewal and after I got my Invoice (which I had to request for 4 times) - 3 weeks later, I found they were adding the online $2.99 charge on. Phoned them back and finally got it removed. This is not good.

What kind've rates are people getting for second radios? My wife just got a new car who's 3 month freebie is up. We already have a sub and there's no way I want to pay the $100 a year for the second car. They should throw us a bone for that second radio no?

Where do you enter the promo code or renew online? Or is just for new subscriptions? I go to my account page and there is no where for me to renew now, it just has my home info and credit card info...
I see under the activate link, you can do that, but it looks like a new subscription or radio page.

The SAVE50PA is for new subs only....as are most promo codes. If there is one for existing subs, you will most likely get an email with the details. Your best bet is to call, and try to negotiate a satisfactory rate....but you will probably only get one if you threaten to cancel.

It blows my mind that there are all kinds of promos for new accounts, as is with all subscription type things (Cells, magazine, etc) but the customer who has already supported these companies gets screwed... I know people that have used the half off promo and had already had accounts... Luckily the CC they have on file for me, has expired and they need a new one. I got the letter (You don't want to miss anything with an interruption to your service), so I will be calling tomorrow to cancel anyhow...

XM Radio Canada is Free May 22-June 4. Also, there is a promo code $2.49/mo for first 3 mo or $79.76/yr for first yr, deal expires June 18, 2012. The paid subscription will allow for all 130 channels.

I'll give it a try this week, as my sub is nearly up... I am not paying regular price, so unless I can snag a good deal like some of these, I am cancelling.
I've tried codes in the past and I know people who were allowed to use them but when I tried, I got "That code is for In Vehicle systems", or "that promo is for new or second accounts only"...

So used the save50pa today successfully. First he offered me the same as I paid last year ($120) with them saying that was the best they could do. So I said can try this promo code and voila it worked.
