Anyone know why Rogers is not showing Sons of Anarchy on demand TV. They are showing other FX programs such as American Horror story. Would be good to see season 4 on demand! Or it would be nice if FX canada would show season 4 again.

FX Canada NEVER showed Season 4 of SOA. That's because Super Channel owns the first-run Canadian broadcast rights for Season 4 and is still airing it. This could also be the reason that Rogers is not currently airing any of the previous SOA seasons through the Rogers On Demand channel (ch. #100).
Plus, Super Channel is currently airing all of the Season 4 episodes via its own ON Demand channel (channel 338 through Rogers Cable). Once Super Channel's Season 4 rights expire, FX Canada will then be allowed to broadcast Season 4 of SOA. Since it was recently mentioned (Dec. 8, 2011) on Facebook that Super Channel will air Season 5 of SOA in September of 2012 (coincides with the American FX channel's release date), that's the earliest you will most likely be able to view Season 4 on FX Canada, assuming of course that FX Canada has finished airing the first 3 seasons. As for Rogers On Demand, even though the FX Canada free preview has recently ended, I can still watch the four main FX Canada exclusives (AHS, Terriers, The League, Wilfred) through Rogers On Demand. Once Monday rolls around, I will be interested to see if that will still be the case (though the expiry dates go until the end of January for some episodes). It's possible that all current episodes of those FX Canada shows will eventually be removed from Rogers On Demand, otherwise, non-subscribers like me could continue to keep up with the exclusive series that FX Canada airs (though I hate the 4x3 center-cut versions shown through Rogers On Demand and would prefer to watch American Horror Story in the 16x9 mode as it is shown on FX Canada SD and HD). However, since Rogers owns FX Canada, I suppose it might not mind giving away some of its exclusive programming for a while longer (or perhaps start charging $1.99 for each episode). Extra Note: Justified is another FX Tv series that Super Channel owns the Canadian broadcast rights to (thus it doesn't air on FX Canada, yet). Pretty sad if you think about it. Canadians are dealt a bad hand once again with the broadcasters making a $15.95/month subscription the only legal option consumers have to watch up to date seasons of SOA. SOA is a regular cable channel show in the US and not a pay channel.
Then they wonder why Canadians download or subscribe to US satellite.... |

Is FX going to air Season 3 of SOA? I thought the plan was for them to air the first three seasons.
i was looking forward to S3.Ep1 this week, only to see a rerun of the pilot episode. |
