Have Kitchen-aid side by side not making ice. There's a LED by the on/off switch for the icemaker that flashes twice, pauses and repeats. Code isn't in the manual, any ideas?

Type this into google: "Kitchen-aid icemaker flashes twice" and check out the results. Sounds like others have had this problem, too.

My kitchenaid icemaker stopped working for us a few months ago. I can't recall if our LEDs were blinking as you note. Upon further inspection we noticed that the little PVC tube that feeds water to the ice tray was backed up and frozen solid with water. Pulled out a hair blower and on the warm (ie not hot) setting was easily able to thaw it. You'll know when it's fixed, a big chunk of ice comes out.
