Shaw on Demand does not work on PVR 3416 - Canadian TV, Computing and Home Theatre Forums

Guys I can't turn on Shaw on demand on my 3416. Button on remote does not turn it on or throught the menu does not work. Does anybody know what to do to fix it? I called shaw already and they have reset my box couple of times but that did not work.

If you have another remote, try that. There have been a few issues with remotes sending the wrong commands for VOD lately.
If that doesn't work they may have to remove it from the DAC and reset it.
And if that doesn't work it's either a wiring issue or something wrong with the box and it'll need to be swapped.

It used to work. I guess after the shaw EXO upgrade it stopped working. And I don't think it's a remote because I go through on screen menu and it still does't work.

@TurboLover - Try using the "B" key on your remote and then see if that brings it up.

When you try and access SOD does it give you any kind of error or do you just get no response?

If that doesn't work pm me and I'll have and agent connect with you to troubleshoot further.
