Default WiFi scanner

I recently came across a WiFi scanner app for Windows called inSSIDer. It not only lists what's on the various channels, it creates a graphical display of channels and signal strength.

I really like this application. Ended up stumbling upon it after NetStumbler stopped getting updates.

NetStumbler stopped working for me when I bought a new ThinkPad & Windows 7 last fall. InSSIDer works on this computer. There's also an Android app called "WiFi Analyzer"

You'll have to check the app store. I have no idea about iPhones, as I've never used one.

Don't know about iOS, but on Android I use the appropriately named Wifi Analyzer.

Check out.... http://www.meraki.com/products/wireless/wifi-stumbler

they have a browser based scanner... it seems to work very well on my laptop. It might even work on an iPhone in the browser!

Nope. This thing requires a Java applet not supported on i-divines!
