it says on Shaw it is on channel 348! Is it true? doesn't say in the listings

I didn't see the reference to channel 348 on the site. Usually it will be on 209 in HD. It looks like they have the Senators and Rangers though. 348 Might be one of the NHL Center Ice channels but I'm not sure.

Nothing on 348 here. Too bad as I was wanting to watch this game more than the others tonight.

Not the same company actually. They are separate corporations with separate contracts and regulations.

Ownership is irrelevent when it comes to what a corporation negotiates. Rupert Murdoch owns lots of companies, but what's negotiated with one company is irrelevant to what another company can do.

Although Shaw Direct may have the rights to certain channels, etc, that has nothing to do with what Shaw Cable has. Same goes for Bell Fibe & Sat.

maybe if SHAW had more timeshift channels ie CBC it would be on. HD preferably.
