Default RIP Randy Starkman

Toronto Star columnist Randy Starkman passed away today. He was 51.

Randy covered amateur sports like no one, he will be missed.

Very very sad news.

I had the good fortune to meet Randy just a few months ago. He wrote an extensive three day article on concussions. (my son was front page of the Star Sports section, sadly because he had had two concussions)

Randy was an excellent writer and seemed like a great guy. Very caring and thorough.

My condolences to his family and friends.
