Shaw's TV on Demand has been a real lifesaver for me because there are times when I expect to be home and don't set a DVR recording time, or when special circumstances intervene. However it seems as though Shaw is dropping the CITY-TV shows from the list of options.
Last Friday I was watching Fringe on the FOX channel from Spokane, and the sound disappeared for the last ten minutes of the episode (I hate the Spokane FOX station; various sound problems are the norm for them including loss of synchronization between the sound and picture, but that's an issue for another time). No problem I thought, I'll catch the episode using On Demand at my convenience. Except the episode wasn't added to the menu the day after and still hasn't been. In addition other shows from CITY-TV haven't had the most recent episodes added. So are Rogers and Shaw playing stupid games with each other or has Shaw simply decided it's not worth it? |

Was Fringe a Rerun?
I don't see it on the CITY-TV iPhone app either.

No, it was a brand new episode where "our" Lincoln Lee goes to the other universe and interacts with "Fauxlivia" and their Lincoln Lee.

In my case I recorded the FoxHD (ch. 208) Fringe feed on two different DCX3400s. One had the same audio dropout mentioned by Brent McKee and the other didn't. Very strange. I watched the first 50 minutes off the first box and then the last 10 minutes off the second.
