Default 50% OFF TMN - Movie Network

Bell TV is offering 50% off TMN for 6 months for new customers, or customers who have not had TMN for the past 120 days.

This is available in all provinces that carry TMN.

If you yell enough, you can get the 50% off deal even if you are already subbed to TMN.

Good Luck!

Thanks for the heads up on this !
I'm on the "a la carte" programming plan so the monthly rate of $13 was cut to $6.50.
Called them rather than added it myself online to make sure I get the discount.
Initially was told that it would be 50% off the full price of $21/mth but after putting me on hold came back and confirmed the $6.50 price.

It's close to a 45$ savings including sales tax.

Good deal!

In Ontario it is a 70$ savings!

It says that existing customers that have not had TMN for 120 days are elligible for this offer. Does not say anything about switching to the bad, worse, horrible package.

Changed my programming online to add TMN.

Called to check since the website says "call to subscribe". The person I talked to didn't know but then checked and put a note on my account so I "should" receive credits in 4 to 8 weeks.

I did not change from my old programming and was not asked to change to Good, Better or Best.

She did check that it was 120 days since I last subscribed to TMN and it has been at least 10 years. :-) She couldn't even find WHEN I last subscribed.

My first bill was in fact missing the credit, which is ridiculous.

Customer Service was unwilling to adjust, I spoke to the loyalty/cancellation group, they instantly adjusted including partial month.

That's the worst part about Bell. Their billing department sucks. They constantly screw up whenever you make changes and you have to fight every time to get it fixed. I no longer authorize direct deposit for Bell and pay through my online bank. I won't let them screw me over anymore and then hold on to my money.

I've had major issues with them over cell phones (5 straight months of incorrect billing until I finally just cancelled the phone) and satellite bills.

Bell is THE worst for billing. Their system of gross charges offset by disappearing credits is very unethical.

I left all Bell services 10 years ago but went back for satellite TV last summer due to unique sports channels offered.

I carefully took notes as offers were made. My first invoice was $1,100.00 too high - a free PVR, free receiver and free installation were each invoiced at gross price. It took five months to fully correct, even with the detailed notes I started taking the day I called with my first inquiry on service and pricing.
