So I got shaw BB50 installed. I was only ever to get maybe 3-5mbs download speed using wifi. I found out I don't have a b/g card in my laptop, so I went out today and bought a USB DLink "N" adapter. I got it installed, have a way better signal strength. But after playing around with a bunch of other channels on the router I can still only get 5-6mbs. Any suggestions?

Try wired to your router as the first step.

Wired I'm getting around 48mbs it's only on my laptop as being wirless. I have a "N" adapter, so I should be getting faster speeds. Shaw came out today and did a test and told me to buy a "N" usb adapter and it would increase the speeds, So I did that and still nothing better.
