Justified on Super Channel, Mondays 9pm (+ several repeats)
Starring Timothy Olyphant as US Marshal Raylan Givens, based on the character from Elmore Leonard novels. Givens is reassigned to his hometown stomping grounds in Kentuky after his old west style justice wears thin on his bosses in Miami. Saw the first episode Monday and thought it was pretty good... well written and acted. Olyphant's character reminds me a bit of his lawman in Deadwood, but this guy is much more slick and calm. Looking forward to seeing more. |

I've heard some great reviews on this; I wish Movie Central had decided to carry it.
Someone explain to me again how this "MC in the west and SC in the east" monopoly is good for consumers... |

I've seen the first 3 episodes and the 1st was excellent while the other two were ok. I will continue to watch for now as Olyphant is great in the lead role.

I'm really enjoying this too... good quality show, well written characters and dialog. The series was created by Graham Yost, who has writing credits including Band of Brothers, The Pacific, and From the Earth to the Moon. It has also kept the distinctive feel and humour of Elmore Leonard, so I believe he has been active in the writing too. I was glad to hear they are renewed for a second season.

Just started watching this, got through the first two episodes, and we are enjoying it!
I am not into cop shows at all, but I always enjoy good stories and good characterizations. This show is interesting, and at times I their protrayal of southern people just makes me laugh! Olyphant really works well in his role, but the rest of the cast are pulling their share of the weight. A very well done series! I see it has been picked up for a second season. |

Season 3 starts January 30 on Super Channel. It's not on FX Canada.

I enjoyed Season 1 (I still have a few episodes I didn't watch yet), couldn't stand watching Season 2 (boring!), but thankfully Season 3 is back to the quality of Season 1.
Showcase will begin airing Season 1 of Justified starting March 18, 2012. Nice catch, Showcase! Suck on that, FX Canada! |

While its good for ppl that don't have SC, I fear it will be the same as Burn Notice in that all new eps stay on SC and Showcase will show the older seasons again, again.

Showcase has shown the first 3 seasons of Burn Notice so far. Season 5 just finished in December 2011 so I think they are doing ok with it getting the seasons to us.
