WBBZ,.. It is what it is!
I don't understand what the engineering benefits are with VHF over UHF!
WBBZ has obviously acheived it's objective for BDU carriage,.. so I suppose that possibly VHF is easier and cheaper for the broadcaster and it serves the BDU carriage purpose and extending OTA coverage is no longer important to them. To go to antenna equipment extremes just to receive a weak WBBZ signal is likely not worth the effort and the costs unless METV,THIS & more religious channels are desirable additions to the many other network programming lineups that you already have. Most people within the WBBZ fringes already get 20 - 30 OTA channels of good programming,... and IMO, going to extremes to adding WBBZ to your reception portfolio is simply for those who want the extra 4 channels to count for bragging rights.
