Default Apple to Broadcast Live Concert on Apple TV

On Thursday, February 9, 2012 at 10 pm EST (7 pm PST) Apple will be broadcasting a Live Concert via iTunes and, for the first time, the concert will also be available live on the companies set top box, the Apple TV. Customers with Apple TV just need to choose 'iTunes Live' from the Internet menu on their Apple TVs at the time of the live broadcast.

The concert will feature Paul McCartney broadcasting live from Capitol Studios in celebration of the release of his new Album "Kisses on the Bottom."

Some people are seeing this broadcast as a test of the ability for Apple to broadcast live content to a future TV product/service.
