I have my receiver set at Standby Through and control with HDMI set to on. This is supposed to allow the video to pass through the receiver when on standby mode. I have to tv's connected. 1 on HDMI out 1 and the other on HDMI out 2. Not of the 2 tv displays video when the receiver is on standby. Anybody have an idea as to why

try leaving the receiver set to the source you want to use before you shut it off. Ive read tidbits about this needing to be done for passthrough to work.

When I turn it off the upstairs TV(connected to HDMI output2) is already on and I have a picture. As soon as I turn off the amp I loose the picture. From what I read in the manual the picture should still go true.
