Videotron experiences strong subscriber growth in recent quarter - Canadian TV, Computing and Home Theatre Forums

Videotron, Quebec’s largest cable company, announced today that it has registered, in the last quarter, its strongest subscriber growth since its acquisition by Quebecor in the early 2000s with a net increase of 169,000 new service subscriptions, counting all products.

I think bundles with wireless is really helping Videotron.

As far as the above, IMHO this would be related to the move to digital forcing many to go with them as they were loosing many of their favorite channels in the process (Videotron can thank the CRTC for this one!). I also think their bundles are quite appealing to many (few savings and a single bill for all comms).

Bundles for videotron are the key. Without them and their quickly expanding mobile things might not be the same.

There was a massive spike in subs from the digital conversion.
