Default Connect wireless router (Linksys WRT54GL w/ DD-WRT) to Actiontec device

Hi Guys,

I recently switched from Shaw to Telus Optik TV and I have the Actiontec modem/wireless router installed.

I need to know how to connect my WRT54GL to the Actiontec.

When I had Shaw, I connected one WRT54GL directly to the modem and setup a wireless bridge with another WRT54GL I have on the other side of the house.

The reason I need to do this is that I have another IPTV box (for The Filipino Channel) that requires a wired connection to the internet and I don't want to have to run a cable around my house to give it that connection.

I configured the wireless bridge about 6 years ago so I really don't remember how I did it.

I remember having to set them both with the same SSID and passphrase. They are both running the same firmware version of DD-WRT. I manually set the IP address of the 2nd WRT54GL. But other than that, I don't remember what else I did.

Is there anyone out there that can help me set this up with the Actiontec? Is it even possible? Or is there even a better solution for what I'm trying to do?

Thanks in advance. I appreciate any help/info given.
