Toyota Matrix campaign shows peril of pulling pranks

I'd really like to see the emails that she received. If you couldn't tell they were from Toyota then I could see them being quite scary since they contained personal information (address) about her.

If it was obviously from Toyota then it would not have been very "successful" campaign. I am pretty sure the idea was to keep the audience in the dark and creating a buzz.

I am particularity careful with my home address. It is not online so I know if someone has it they have to know me or I have ordered something in the past.

Pretty stupid idea but hey common sense seems to be in short supply these days.

Gotta love the US legal system. 10 million bucks for getting a couple of slightly creepy emails.

"Slightly creepy". That is subjective. I would also say a male would view it differently than a female.

The alternative is they get a slap on the wrist and continue. And if it translated into $$ you can bet they would do it again.
